Late Shri. G.K. Sharma
KAPAAS (Kapās — cotton)
The Spirit Behind KAPAAS
KAPAAS (Kapās — cotton) is a heartfelt philanthropic initiative through which we aspire to “Weave Hopes” into people’s lives. Just as each cotton thread contributes to the strength of a fabric, we believe that every act of hope and kindness can be woven into a brighter, more inclusive future.
This program is launched in loving memory of my father, Late Shri. G.K.
Sharma, on the 1st anniversary of his passing 22 Apr 2025 (as per Telugu calendar). A man of compassion, generosity, and deep-rooted belief in the power of community, his legacy continues to inspire us every day.
KAPAAS (Kameshwar, Annapoorna, Prasad, Aditya, Aakash,
Sirisha) is more than a program — it is a tribute, a promise, and a purpose:
• To carry forward his spirit by empowering those who need it the most, starting with the blind girls who deserve equal light in life.
Vision
KAPAAS Philanthropic Initiative
Creating a world where compassion, dignity, and opportunity are available to all — especially those who are often unseen or underserved. To weave hope into every life we touch

KAPAAS
Mission

- To honour the legacy of Late Shri. G.K. Sharma by building a compassionate, community-driven philanthropic platform that empowers blind girls and underprivileged through education, care, and meaningful opportunities.
- Creating tangible, measurable impact that empowers people to lead better lives—not through hand-outs, but through sustainable support and guidance.
- Through this charter, we aim to bring light to their path and strength to their steps
Core Values
We’ve been tackling poverty in communities to build better lives
We believe that privilege comes with the duty to give back
Rather than short-term donations, we commit to longterm support of selected causes.
We believe that even the smallest thread of hope can be woven into something life-changing.
Our giving is rooted in the values passed down by our ancestors, especially in honor of our father’s memory.
